USING THE SAME FAMILY RECIPE SINCE 1942
Just imagine our surprise when we opened Dub's war chest and found his World War II moonshine recipe! After returning from war, he married the love of his life, Kathryn, who didn't believe in drinking, dancing, or smoking. If he wanted to marry her, he would need to give it all up which is exactly what he did!
Today, his son, Mark, crafts spirits along with a crew of childhood friends on a family ranch 10 miles southwest of Granbury, TX. We grow our own grain, grind it on the front porch, cook the mash and invite you to come taste the distinctive flavor of a cherished Sledge family tradition. In a time where craft distilling is tempted to take delivery and bottle with a custom label, our spirits are truly hand-crafted from start to finish in small batches and finished new oak barrels. Taste it and you'll understand why a good thing can't be rushed and this family's tradition will never change.

Evan Sledge and the Whiskey Morning Coffee team import coffee beans and age them in the Distillery's used barrels where they soak up the sweet whiskey residue. Then, they roast the beans over an open fire to create a truly unique coffee blend.
They tested the bold blend on their boats while guiding for salmon on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska and after positive feedback, a new business was quickly born. You can buy their coffee online or at the Distillery. |
